Happiness is the Holy Grail, the meaning and the purpose of life and as Aristotle famously said happiness is, "the whole aim and end of human existence". 

We usually wait for something to happen to start being happy - once I get my promotion I will be happy, once I find my soul mate I will be happy and so on. After we achieve the desired goal our happiness increases, but not for long. After a while, we get back to a similar level of happiness as we were before. We were born with the happiness set point which is genetically determined. With this happiness set point, we are predisposed to look at the world with a certain level of optimism or pessimism. Imagine happiness as a cake - 50% of the level of your happiness is the setpoint, 10% are life circumstances - your assets, health, education, housing, etc. 40% of our happiness level lies in our daily intentional activities and our behavior. How we think, how we perceive things, how we cope and face a challenge, how we perceive ourselves etc. In this workshop, you will learn how to be happy right now. Various tools and exercises will help you to reach instant happiness. When you are happy you are extending your happiness to others, you feel good, you are a better partner, parent, friend, you accomplish your goals faster and you are more productive.  

 

As Abraham Hicks said "The reason you want every single thing that you want, is because you think you will feel really good when you get there. But, if you don’t feel really good on your way there, you can’t get there. You have to be satisfied with what-is while you’re reaching for more".
