Stress is just a reaction to the demands of daily life. Good stress motivates you, mobilizes you and energizes you. Whereas, the bad stress paralyzes you, stifles your functioning and your thinking. Your brain comes hard-wired with an alarm system for your protection. When your mind perceives a threat, it signals your body to release a stress hormone - cortisol that increases your heart rate and raises your blood pressure. Once the thread is gone, your body returns back to normal. Unfortunately, the constant demands of life make it harder for some people's alarm systems to shut down.

In this workshop, you will learn how to respond to stress instead of automatically reacting to it. When you learn to do this, you will start to manage stress more effectively, where you are in control of it, and it is not in control of you.
